The SSD drive you recommend can be replaced in my laptop but cannot be supplemented. I need to go to a local computer store to see if it is possible to upgrade my 4-core processor even if I replace the hard drive with an SSD. I reinstalled 17 and I have the same hang-up. Although the majority of assistants here agree that I have the specs, the missing element seems to be the 2 missing cores. I will continue to study the things I learned on the forum. My alternatives seem to be to continue with MS 14 or buy a new computer (which is currently not possible). Thank you very much. I will work on vkmast`s comment. I sent him something to watch and I appreciate the understanding of just jumping in and trying the free trial if what I have doesn`t work. Thank you. @vkmast yes, I thought it would be hard to ignore or overlook, I wonder why it happened in the first place, no one in Magix`s office meetings said, “If we change the product but keep almost the same name, then we offer upgrades without massive warning.” 🤦 ♂️ Yes, I understand that I was 😉 only worth my money. They raised my hope. I looked at the email sent to me by Vegas tech support and looked at my HP specs and I`m confused – partly because I don`t see the problem with the kernel they`re talking about (ignorance). BUT my experience at 17 is that I installed it and hung it up and never opened it. I reinstalled it and had the same problem. If you can look at this .jpg I created with their email and specifications, and help me understand (even find a job), I`d appreciate it. I lost interest and went to one of the other systems in the house.
